Terms of Reference 

Since its revival in 2011, EFU has focused on three broad themes to ensure the inclusion of women within a transforming political climate. The themes are reflected in the various projects of EFU. The first involves working closely with women members of the Parliament (MPs) and attempts to addresses inclusion and discrimination within the constitution. This means working closely with MPs and their constituents through combining field and legal research to amend discriminatory or exclusionary laws and legislations concerning criminal justice, labor, and personal status. Finally, alongside MPs, stakeholders, local civil society organizations (CSOs), and their constituents, EFU has worked to influence policies and services related to water, education, health care and housing. 
The second theme is concerned with Sexual Based Violence (SBV) and Gender Based Violence (GBV) and involves working with various state and non-state stakeholders to address prevention, response, and services. 
The third theme is concerned with the economic empowerment of women. Activities have included both legislative and on-the-ground interventions alongside partner CSOs. 
The Social Media and Outreach Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing a social media strategy to increase the online visibility and overall visibility of EFU and its projects as well as assist in outreach programs and capacity building and training of EFU constituents and stakeholders. He/she will work closely with Project Managers, beneficiaries, and partners, under the supervision of the Executive Director to achieve the above. 
Position: Full-time 
Responsibilities 
● Develop, implement and manage social media strategy 
● Define, monitor and enhance social media KPIs 
● Develop, implement, monitor social media campaign 
● Design and create social media posts and content 
● Visualize research projects and disseminate digitally 
● Assist project partners and beneficiaries in achieving online connectivity ● Train project partners and beneficiaries on social media usage and tools ● Monitor and report on social media trends relevant to EFU’s mandate ● Develop knowledge and skills with latest best practices and technologies ● Create guidelines for best media practices 
● Collaborate with EFU project managers on developing content specific to project activities 
● Develop EFU brand and increase visibility of organization and projects ● Participate in strategic planning for EFU 
● Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications 
● 3 years or more experience as Social Media Manager, Strategist, or similar role ● Excellent knowledge of social media and communication platforms and apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Zoom, etc., practices, and marketing tools ● Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills. 
● Practical knowledge of web traffic metrics 
● Practical knowledge of common digital communication platforms and devices and the ability to troubleshoot emerging connectivity issues 
● Familiarity with web design platforms and tools 
● Basic knowledge of graphic design 
● Self-motivated, creative, flexible with excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel locally and abroad as required. ● Excellent command of

English, colloquial Arabic, and journalistic Arabic
● Undergraduate degree or the equivalent in professional experience in marketing, communication, IT, or relevant field
