The Egyptian Feminist Union (EFU) is an NGO located in Cairo; it is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of “Project Coordinator “Subject to funding
Required qualification:
A bachelor degree preferably in social science, with 3-5 years of work experience in a similar position.
General Responsibilities:
The overall responsibility is to follow up daily activities and coordinate them to ensure that proper tools are in place prior to the beginning of a project.
 Operationally he/she is responsible for:
A. Project setup:
a. Prepare and assist with pre- implementation meetings, and events.
b. Review donor contract and become familiar with terms & conditions.
c. Distribute all short interval and overall project schedules.
d. Ensure partners have the most up to date scopes of work.
e. Ability to review project documents to become completely familiar with the project and identify long lead times and critical path items.
f. Manage said submittal log and ensure all submittals are processed promptly.
g. Prepare narrative quarterly report and submit to the project manager at Plan International Egypt.
h. Cooperate with the team in charge for procurement to draft TORs for consultancy and other requested services.
B. Monitoring and follow up:
a. Follow up on collection of all non-received documents.
b. Prepare all project meeting agendas and associated attachments.
c. Review and code invoices.
d. Check for accuracy and compare to cost to complete forecast.
e. Follow up reports and researches requested from consultants ensure quality, and submit to Plan International Egypt.
C. Relationships with Management:
a. Work collaboratively with outside parties to accomplish project goals.
b. Demonstrate effective relationship building within the project team and throughout the organization.
